Kari Fosse Artist Bio Kari Richards was
born and raised on the west coast. At a young age she had the opportunity to take part in many mind-opening experiences. Kari is Norwegian/Irish and has a love and appreciation for both of these cultures, as
well as many others. She was also able to spend some time in her teenage years with a Lakota Sioux tribe and learn from them of their culture and beliefs. These experiences as well as others have driven Kari
to learn about different belief systems as well as ancient cultures to explore her world as much as possible. She draws from these experiences in her art. Kari has been interested in
both drawing and painting since she was a young child, and has started to hone her abilities seriously within the last several years.
Kari enjoys depicting emotion in her drawings; from the power of the sideline moment in I Stand Alone to the preciousness of love and family in Napping With Papa, or the precious gaze of
