About W.A. Wound Around came to be because of one artist in a family of artists that wanted a place to share the things she created. Hello, I am that artist and my name is
Kari (car-ee). I have been interested in arts and crafts from the time I was a little girl. My mother started me off by teaching me cross-stitch when I was very young, and it's just been building and
evolving from there. Not only can I now cross-stitch, but I also crochet, draw, paint, make jewelry, and mine/cut stones. In my family I have talented artists that knit, crochet, spin yarn, etc,etc. As
this store builds and evolves I'm hoping to add some of the talents of my family here online.. Please be patient with our building. Kari and her husband have worked really hard to make both
